How your restoration begins

The process

Before I begin your restoration or custom paint work, I confirm colors, design, decal or hand painted logo locations and any other details.

The steel frame is then stripped of everything down to the bare metal and inspected for any imperfections, rust pitting etc. Your frame is then treated with a quality epoxy primer followed by another inspection making certain all the tubes are straight and corrected if needed.

Base colors, candies, pearls, and graphics are then applied. Next is any lug lining, painting contrasting colors in cutaways and any other added finish done after base coats.

Decals are then applied before the first urethane clear coat is applied. The frame is again inspected to be certain everything is right, wet sanded to a smooth finish and given another clear coat session for a really nice glossy finish.
