The Beginning
Since I was a kid, I have always looked for unique ways to stand out. I had an eye for what looked good. As a young motorcycle racer, I could not afford to have my helmet painted. Wanting to stand out I would use anything and everything I could get my hands on from black electrical tape to markers and make my own numbers. I soon was looking for better ways to use my creativity and soon jumped into painting in the early 90’s.
With no internet or Google back then as a reference. I would get my knowledge of using automotive paints from local body shops. No one did airbrushing. I learned on my own, studying photos in a magazine to see what paint and reducers worked. I painted anything and everything I could get my hands on, from helmets, bikes, goggles, to guitars and drums. If I could paint it, I did.
Having an eye for detail and an unending desire to improve my skill as a painter using whatever tools necessary to serve the purpose. An airbrush, spray gun, striping brush, and any other trick I pick up to get the look I want.
Each painting project is treated as my own and approach it the same big or small as if it was my last to earn the respect that I was chosen to do the job.
